     Lindo Lake is located in San Diego County in the city of Lakeside. From San Diego take I-8 East to 67 North. Exit Winter Gardens Blvd. toward Lakeside, keep right at the fork to go on Winter Gardens Blvd. Turn Left onto Woodside Avenue, Woodside Avenue becomes Chestnut Street, Chestnut Street becomes Lindo Lane and follow it to the lake.


General Info:

    This is a small city park lake maintained by the County of San Diego. It is open year round from 9:30 am to sunset daily. The park features picnic tables, softball fields, tennis courts, and playground equipment. Originally fed by mountain streams, it is claimed to be the only natural lake in San Diego County. It was dedicated as a park in 1886 by the El Cajon Valley Land Company. (619) 443-1666.

Fishing Info:

    Rainbow trout are stocked here during the Winter months by the DFW. There are also largemouth bass, catfish, carp and bluegill here. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.
