     Hart Park Lake is located in Kern County in the city of Bakersfield. From Los Angeles, take I-5 North. Merger onto hwy 223 towards Bakersfield, then take hwy. 178 towards Lake Isabella. Turn left on Alfred Harrel hwy and follow it to the park.

General Info:

    The park is open year round, 5am to 10pm. There are two lakes, a children's playground, picnic tables, bbq's and restrooms. Swimming is allowed at your own risk!

Fishing Info:

    The lake is stocked with rainbow trout from Winter through early Spring and catfish during the Summer months. There are also bluegill, largemouth bass, crappie, and carp in here. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.
