     Yucaipa Park is located in San Bernardino county in the city of Yucaipa. From Los Angeles, take I-10 East. Exit on Yucaipa Blvd, go north and east to Oak Glen Road, turn north and east to the park entrance.


General Info:

This is an 885 acre park situated in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountains. Camping, picnicing, and swimming are available. Entrance fee is $7 per car weekdays, $10 weekends, or $2 for pedestrians. Dogs $1.00/dog. Must be on 6' leash at all times. Yearly and senior passes are available. Fishing Info:

    Fishing permits are as follows:

  • $5.00 per person (8 years and older) (Mon - Thurs) $7.00 (Fri - Sun)
  • $2.00 per child (7 years and under) (Mon - Thurs) $4.00 (Fri - Sun)
Fishing permits must be purchased at the entry gate each day and be in the angler's possession while fishing. Turn in the permit at the gate when leaving the park for the day. Rainbow trout are stocked during the winter months and channel catfish during the summer by both DFW and County hatcheries. There are also bass, bluegill and carp in here. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.



Comments and Tips:

    The best lake here is the top one since that one is stocked every week. The other two switch off on the stocks. I would start off on the top lake where the water is flowing out to the other ones. That spot always produces fish. As for what to use it's up to you. I use jigs and worms in a variety of colors and techniques. Try anything in pinks, greens , or oranges.
