Prado Lake is located near the city of Chino in Riverside Co. From Los Angeles take I-10 east to State Hwy 71. Turn right and travel approx. 9 miles to Euclid Ave. Turn right to the park.

General Info:

    The lake is 56 surface acres and has approx. 3 miles of shoreline. It is open all year (closed Christmas Day), 7 days a week from 7:30 am to dusk. Entrance fee is $7 per car weekdays, $10 weekends, or $2 for pedestrians. RV, tent and group camping are available and there is an equestrian center with horses for rent. Phone: (909) 597-4260

Boating Info:

    There is a launch ramp available but no gasoline motors are allowed and boats must be 17 feet or smaller. Rental boats are also available. Float-tubing and inflatables are not permitted.

Fishing Info:

    Fishing permits are $7.50 per person. The lake is stocked with trout in the winter and catfish during the summer months by the DFG and county hatcheries. There are also largemouth bass, carp and bluegill in the lake. No fishing allowed on Thursday's as that is planting day. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.

     My name is Rigo S. fish next to the boat docks with a nightcrawler and catch a good amount of bluegill and once in a while a huge 5 pound bass, try it

    try fishing by the dam or were the water goes down i have caught a 10 pound catfish their and a lot of limits. their is also big carp their in the morning.
