Lake Gregory is located in the beautiful San Bernadino National Forest, near the city of Crestline, CA. From L.A. take I-10 East to I-215. Go North on I-215 4.5 miles to Hwy. 18. Turn Left and travel 11 miles to Hwy. 138. Turn Left on Hwy. 138 and then Right on Lake Dr.
General Info:
This is a small mountain lake of 120 surface acres and 2 miles of shoreline. The lake is open year 'round, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. Boating Info:
There are no private boats allowed on the lake. There are rowboats with electric motors available for rent. No gas motors allowed. Float tubing is allowed for a $5 launch fee
Fishing Info:
There are rainbow and brown trout, bass, crappie and catfish here. Rainbow trout and catfish are planted by the state and county on a regular basis. In 1994, 20,000 sub-catchable brown trout were introduced by the DFG. Most of those fish are gone but a few browns in the 2-3 pound class still show up from time to time. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.

stand by the parking area and throw a night crawler in the water and in seconds you will catch some bullhead catfish.
