Hansen Dam Park is located North of downtown Los Angeles, near the city of Pacoima. From I-5 exit on Osborn St. and go East to the park entrance.

General Info:

    The park is open from dawn to dusk daily. There is a 9-acre fishing lake and a 1.5 acre swimming lake. (818) 896-6215

Boating Info:

    There is a private boat launch available. All boats must be a minimum of 7'6" in length, but may not exceed 18 feet in length. No gas motors allowed. A maximum of 15 boats are allowed on the lake at one time.

Fishing Info:

    The California DFW stocks the lake with rainbow trout during the Winter through early Spring and catfish during the Summer. There are also some largemouth bass, carp and bluegill in the lake. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.
