Red Drum
12-10-2008, 10:00 PM
I took my little 15 ft aluminum Duroboat “Red Drum” out for a little late afternoon/evening Bass n’ Bug trip. I had about 5 hours of honey-do yard work to do, but fortunately Jason “jscrib”, who use to work for a landscaping/yard service company, was kind enough to come to my house and help me whack out all the work in about two and a half hours. Sweeeet!! Thanks a bunch Scribby!
Here is Jason going WFO on Sycamore leaves.

Sand Bass were on a really good chew, from the time we started fishing until the time we stopped fishing at 10:30pm. We caught over 30+ Sand Bass and only 2 Calico Bass, plus a couple Sculpin and Brown Rockfish.
Jason with a nice Sand Bass.

The buggin’ was on the slow side, but we still managed 10 legal bugs for five hours of pulling. Here’s a bug that wanted to help Jason catch a Sandie.

I had blast again out on the big pond and only burned 3 gallons of fuel…now that is “triple-sweet”!!
I can’t wait to go again. HOOK-UP!!
Till next tide,
