Chollas Lake is a small, urban lake of 16 surface acres. Facilities include: an 8/10's-of-a-mile dirt path around the lake for walking, jogging, and bicycling; picnic tables with barbecue grills; children's play equipment; a small basketball court; hiking trails; and coming soon, a multi-purpose ball field in the canyon. Fishing Info:
The California DFG stocks the lake with rainbow trout during the late Fall to early Spring and catfish during the Summer. Several groups and organizations also stock the lake for youth fishing events. There are also some largemouth bass and bluegill in the lake. This is a "Kids-Only" fishing lake for children of 15 years and younger.
