Del Valle Reservior

    Del Valle Reservior is located in Alameda County near the city of Livermore From San Jose, take I-880 North. Merge onto I-680 North toward Sacramento. Exit on Vallecitos Rd. and go East. Turn Right on Wetmore Rd. and the Right on Arroyo Rd. to the reservior.
From I-580 at Livermore, Exit on North Livermore Avenue. Head south and proceed through town (North Livermore Avenue will become South Livermore Avenue in town). About 1.5 miles outside town, turn right at Mines Road, go about 3.5 miles and continue straight on Del Valle Road (Mines Road turns left). The park entrance is about four miles ahead


General Info:

    This is medium sized reservior of 750 surface acres, 5 miles long, and 16 miles of shoreline at an elevation of 700 feet. The park is open daily from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. Entrance fee is $6 per vehicle with an additional $4 per trailered vehicle. There are 150 camp sites available for both RV and tent camping. Boating Info:

    The boat speed limit is 10 miles per hour on the entire lake. There is a boat launch available and rentals are available at the marina (925) 449-5201.

Fishing Info:

    There are rainbow trout, small and largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish here.
