Comments and Tips:

My family and I just visited Santa Fe dam on July 27th 2012 for moonlight fishing. We camped out in tents and the atmosphere was great. (I was somewhat skeptical due to previous visits where there were alot of "homies"). But there was alot of People camping out as well and the kids had a great time fishing. Lots of families and children doing all sorts of activities.. Bike ridding, fishing, playing ball, and around the fire pit. I would visit this place again...the kids caught the catfish on the picture im sending you, it was their first "big fish"....

My name is Michael Martinez. Yesterday my cousins, Dion,CJ,and I went fishing and caught this 7 1/2 lb catfish at Santa Fe Dam on the southwest side near the small pier. No lie....we used a chicken nugget from McDonald's as bait. Caught at 10:30pm Friday night
