Sabrina Lake


Location and Directions:

     Lake Sabrina is located in Inyo County approx. 20 miles west of the city of Bishop, CA. From Hwy 395 in Bishop, take hwy. 168 (Line St.) west into the mountains. Follow 168 along Bishop Creek until it ends at the lake.

General Info:

Lake Sabrina consists of 195 acres set at an elevation of 9,000 feet.

Boating Info:

    There is a launch ramp available free of charge. Rental boats are also available.

Fishing Info:

    Rainbow trout are planted here by the DFG and Alper's Ranch hatcheries. There are also brown and brook trout in here.

Comments and Tips:

Best spots to fish are to the left of the launch ramp and along the dam for stocked trout and at the inlet for hold-over fish. Slow-trolling with flashers and nightcrawlers is popular among locals here.
