Pardee Reservoir

     Pardee Lake is located southeast of Sacramento near the city of Ione. From hwy. 99 take hwy. 12 East. Exit Old Valley Rd. towards Bueana Vista. Turn right on Bueana Vista Rd. and then left on Stony Creek Rd. and follow it to the lake.


General Info:

    The lake is open spring through fall and closed during the winter. Entrance fees are $9 per vehicle, $4 for dogs. Activities include camping, fishing and boating. Body contact with the water is prohibited. Visit Pardee Lake web site for more information.

Boating Info:

    There is a ten lane launch available, launch fee is $8, $4 for float tube, kayak or canoe. Rental boats and slips are also available. Due to the growing presence of the invasive Zebra and Quagga mussel in California, mandatory boat inspections and interviews will be conducted prior to entry


Fishing Info:

    Fishing permits are $4 per day for anglers 16 and older. Rainbow trout are planted by the CDFW and private hatcheries. There are also brown trout, largemouth bass, catfish, kokanee salmon, crappie, bluegill and sunfish. A fish cleaning station is available near the launch ramp. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.

     The lack of water skiers and jet skis makes this a very popular fishing lake.
