Fishing Info:
There are rainbow and brown trout, striped bass, small and largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish here. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.
Comments and Tips:
The trout are long gone; the stripers made snacks of them long ago. I understand that the stripers were planted by the state because the trout did not do well due to fluctuating levels and warm water. The stripers have done very well.
The stripers are so abundant in the lake that it is one of just three lakes in the whole state that has no size limit on them and the limit is ten instead of two as is the limit in the state.
