Fishing Info:

This is an excellent trout fishing lake. Best times to fish are during the spring and fall when the weather is cooler. Rainbow trout are stocked abundantly by the DFW. There are also lake trout (mackinaw), kokanee salmon, and a few nice-sized brown trout in here as well. Good areas for trophy macks and browns are near the boat ramps where they plant the little stocker rainbows. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.

Comments and Tips:

During the warmer summer months, this lake is hammered by all the swimmers, skiers, and wind surfers. Best time to fish is early morning or late evening when most of the swimmers are off the lake.
