    All lead no matter the lb test will sink at the same rate. I like trolling the rapala floaters when the fish are up in the water column. The countdowns work as well to when you need to get deeper. Mostly trolling the floaters on twin though, iv noticed the browns on Crowley like the smaller stuff. Twin is a hog hunting lake for me.

    My slow working brain now recalls someone saying that 12# will take up less space on your reel than 18#

    FWIW I did see the Crowley Fish Camp Trolling Report mentioning some using size 13 Raps. I think I'll start the morning trolling some biggies then come down to the Taz ... LCraft ... Sierra Spoons ... etc. I've been a big Needlefish man ... so maybe a #3 for grins
