Fishing with Cricket 8/17

We had a job site meeting in Moreno Valley about 15 minutes from the lake and I thought we could give it a shot off the bank for an hour or so after the meeting.

It was a great idea and the lake, tho a bit lower than I saw it last (years ago) looked real good with clear water and plenty of life.

My coworker and pal- Cricket aka Munk were throwing plastic worms when all of a sudden Cricket spots a big fish swimming right in front of us.

I quickly reeled in my bait and pitched it right on top of the fish's head.
I saw the fish spun around and follow the bait down as it sank.
3 seconds later my line started to get tight so I swung- BOOM- Fish On!!

She put up a great fight, jumping and pulling drag.

Sorry about that guys my nickname for Munk is hilarious in the right context.

I also realize the amount of punctuation errors in other posts so I completely understand your confusion.
I'll do a better job next time.
