Default Lake Mohave April 4-7, 2014

My wife and I went to Laughlin this past weekend to fish Lake Mohave. From the reports I was getting is it was going to be very tough conditions. It hasn't been that warm lately and the wind has blown almost every day.
To my surprise the fishing was great! It would start off a little slow in the morning, but by mid morning it really picked up. The water temp. was 60 in the morning and warming up to about 63 during the day depending on where you were. We didn't see too many beds, so I'm guessing the wind and cold evenings have kept the fish from moving up.

Here's a video of some of the fish we caught.

Thanks dude! We caught a lot of fish each day and I was surprised by the quality. This was the second time I've ever fished there.

Good job and sweet footage...gotta love the go pro I found a lot of beds that were deep. This one was at about 15-20ft

Looks awesome! Do you guys stay at a house there? Or at one of the hotels/casinos?

I want to take the boat there this summer with the wife, I just sketch a little leaving the boat in a hotel/casino parking lot with the graphs and other easy to snatch items.

    Thanks man!!
I'm the same way with all my gear. The two times I've fished there we've stayed at Harrah's which has a lot less foot traffic and I requested a room in the Central Tower above the 8th floor facing the parking lot. We have parked on top of the parking structure where the boat parking is, and there are a few spots that have outlets so you could charge your trolling motor.
