Default Memorial Day with the boy on Crowley

Took the Carolina Skiff out for 1/2 day fishing on Crowley with my boy.

Fishing was pretty good once we found the fish.

Cam ended up with 7 fish (assisted) to the net. I got 8. We lost double that..

All midge fish under the indicator.

Plenty of really good looking Browns and Big rainbows. (lost 5-6 of them due to their aerial shenanigans)

We didn't get any cutties this time, but we did get one perch...

All released to fight another day...

Best of all quality time with my boy...

    Love me some Crowley fishing...

    Hey Jimmy,

That is indeed a great day. Congrats. Would you please show me your midge rig and describe how you fish it please?

    Thank you, Bob

Here is the basic rig for stillwater fishing in Crowley. Generally speaking you are fishing in at least 12 feet of water..

this is not mine, but should give you an idea of how it is rigged.
