The valley floor has been too hot for me ... that's November time

Yeah...I went last year in Oct and found it perfect for me and I sleep in my van (to be able to stay longer) in the parking lot at Vons/Kmart and had to use a heater (Coleman Powercat). The days were balmy...hardly even warm and the mosquitos were almost (except for the monsters that bit my exposed leg) gone.

I went up over Labor Day weekend.
The water is a little lower than normal, and somewhat choked off by the weed growth.
It's a little different animal this year, as compared to years past.
But, there are still fish to be had.
