    Default Corona sold to developers

Hello all, being advised that the Corona lake property has been sold to developers. Being told they have plans to develop homes and shopping center commencing 2015. Hope this isn't true.

with land value on the rise again, it makes sense to develop that huge amount of land... i mean how much profit can they make off of fishing.... plus they can market property there as in the hills haha

This is what I've been able to find. The retail development is proposed south of the residential area where Corona lake is. Time will tell.

The Lake and the water is owned by the water district. The Lake has not sold and it is not for sale. The fishing operation has not sold and it is not for sale. Corona Lake is not part of the Foremost Communities property being developed.

Thank you for the clarification. Corona is a great little lake. Many of us fish it and learned about "So Cal trouting" here. Pray for water!

So! To sum it up, so long as the developers are adults, selling them Corona's is OK.
