Default Umpqua River Smallmouth guide trip

I was fortunate to fish a drift boat on the the scenic Umpqua River. I had heard that the SMB fishing in summertime could be awesome, but had no idea how good. Fished from 8am to 4, caught an incredible 136 fish. Not many big fish but tons of fun on UL tackle. Fishing with The Oregon Angler Guide Service Todd Hannah & Joe Mello. They provided everything & were very easy to deal with.Click image for larger version.

Wow 136! Sounds like an awesome trip. Congrats bro! I was out there last month near the city of Glide. Caught some dace and smallmouths but nothing in that magnitude. Was mainly targetting fall chinook/steelheads, but failed miserably in doing so...

Lightning: Didn't have a chance to head west from Roseberg. Had to make it to Crater lake by nightfall...
