Made one last pilgrimage up to the Eastern Sierras, camping near Mammoth, for a fun-filled weekend. Did some hiking, fishing, and filming.
Ran into some thick fish that didn't make onto the camera in one little creek, really had to bushwack to get out to them but it was worth it! Also caught the nicest looking brook trout that I have ever seen, fat little chunk on a spoon. Had the opportunity to fly fish as well with some hand-tied Adams that I tied the night before heading out, and landed both rainbows and brows on them!
Best of all---no mosquitoes! Completely different from a month back when we ventured to Little Lakes Valley and got eaten alive by them. Lovely weather and the crowds had thinned out alot a well. You can just see the hint of fall colors coming into the valleys in the video.
Enjoy the video!
