4-2-14 Afternoon
Got on the water yesterday about 1pm. Windy, water temp 62-63 degrees. Started with the 0-ROF Huddelson. Had 2 followers that I saw, but no hookups after about an hour. Switched to texas rigged green weenie and got bit immediately. Caught 4 or 5 on the weenie, but missed more than that. Changed to the zoom watermelon/black flake 7" lizard and caught about 7 or 8 more a little better quality and missed 3 or 4. Just before heading in at 6pm, picked up the spinner bait (chartreuse) and landed a nice one. All the fish were in the 2 to 4lb range. Fished the north shore. Was out last Friday afternoon and fished the south shore with about the same results. Good luck out there!
