Lbc 3/13
Well, since someone reported the fish were not biting in the
Malibu area, decided to check the summer Halibut go to spots
in the LBC A..O. Arrival time to a fogged in coastline was about
7am to about a 5.0 tide level. Fog lifted by 10am. and left the area by 12am.
waters were fairly clean, yet there was a trash, debris, slight problem ,in
the Alamitos jetty side fishing area, but subsided by the time you reached
the pier ! Not a great catching day, but at least beat the skunk throwing
the KM.

Nice try FS and way to beat the stripe. That slug (or whatever it is) almost looks like a squid. Shoulda photoshop'd it larger and colored it red...then you coulda said you caught a Humboldt in the bay. That woulda freaked some people out. Guess it's a little too early for April fools.

Hi ya fishshep,
I was surprised to read in your report that you chose LBC as your AO at this time of year!
You must have needed a break from the pounding surf ... or you've already caught all of the BSP in Samo Bay! Ha ha ha!
I happen to know this about you .... if there are fish at any given AO ... you'll definitely hook up with them!
Thanx Danial for the fish report with pic's!

Haven't caught a YFC in quite sometime... good fighters, nice job Daniel.

Nice YFC! Is that a sea cucumber? Now how many surf anglers you know that has one of those on their list of exotics?
