I was there too and the bite was on night crawlers. My partner and I had our limits with trout in the two and three pound range. On the bottom in about 8 to 10 feet of water.

Love it. If they're not biting 'crawlers, they're not biting. I like 12 feet but if they're biting in 10, then ten it is.
