    there were actually a couple of bluegill in the mix they were the ones that were still sitting in the beds and they were a tad smaller than the redear. but there were both redear and bluegill in the cove we were fishing. my biggest one that I caught that shook the hook when i went to grab it was a bluegill and I saw a couple very large bluegill but they were a little harder to get to because the redear were darting all over chasing the worms

    The BIG redear love pieces of clam and Topoc gave up the official world record redear last month. It was over 5lbs.

    yeah every one on the fish I cleaned were full of the mussel or clam shells.
