Dude, this pic is totally creepy. Look like you got one of them alien egg laying thing stuck on you.
Nice halibut robert. Art, sorry you were a little off your game, but i'm sure that the meal your girl cooked for you made it ALL BETTER.

What a solid report Robert, kudos on the halibut....some CLASSIC pictures between the two of you! It's pretty cool that Arthur is letting other people catch the halibut once in awhile too!

    Great dual report gents.

Robert, thanks for inviting me to come fish with you, always fun regardless of the fish count.
Just watching you go Commando on those waves, getting rolled, pop back up time and time again and doing it again is quite inspiring. You are relentless in your pursuit for the prize, kudos my friend, kudos!
I used to do that myself before fishing with Mike (Bones) made me soft.

Thanks for the dinner bounty, Lynn says thank you! See below for the results of your donated Hali.

Pan seared Halibut fish cakes... amazing.

    Extra pics...

    Bonus Report - Friday 5/27 2-Hour Mission.

Tried to redeem myself with a quick 2-hour session before work this morning with Mike (Bones).
    S.W.A.T. A.O. code name: Doomsday
Conditions pretty rough out there as the swells have picked up quite a bit.
Managed one Calico... until we meet again my friends.
We will give it another try soon!

Have a great Memorial Day weekend everybody!

    Mike with a shrunken head...

Lots of evidence of swell damage in this area.

Huge clumps of kelp washing up on the beach. These are not boilers, some of the biggest clumps of kelp that I've ever seen!

    Pretty comfortable I must say...
    Arturo,
It's always a blast fishing with you my friend...
I was hoping we would get limits on legal butts, but it wasn't meant to be.
There will be plenty of opportunities to get that 30" this Summer.
Tell Lynn that she is welcomed for the dinner. Those pan seared butt cakes look delicious!!!!
That is a nice looking checker board you got there...
Last, did you have to show everyone, Mikes shrunken head...

I have to ask though, did you hear Arthur at one point in the day say "Never give up!" I'd like to think I may have given one of the SWAT members a little good advice. I think Arthur heard me say those words a few times in the past.

Anyway, awesome report! Congratulations on another great day on the water!
    Hey Terry,
Again, congrats on your daughters graduation from Long Beach State.
Get ready to slay some fish in the near future...

    Hey Ryan,
    Arturo is a Fishing Machine!
He is the rabbit, to my hare and most of the time he is the one tearing it up.
If he were to take the time, and comb the areas more, he would probably have double the counts that he normally post.
We kinda knew going into the day that the swells were going to be challenging. Just not "THAT" challenging...

Hey Art, can Lynn give Lauren some cooking lessons?
    Phong,
Obviously Lauren doesn't read these post, cause that is grounds for a head smack!!!
    When are we getting out?
Let's take your boat out and get some YT!?!
I have a few spots in my GPS...
Hope to fish with you soon,

    Hey Sid,
I think if someone were to get those yaks, and combine the parts, it would be one nice yak.
Looking forward to meeting you soon,

The before and after pics of the Halibut, what can I say other than, Great catch and a wonderful dinner.
Your dialed in down there. Were still in a holding pattern as far as cold water. Temps start to come up but then another storm comes along and sets us back. We keep fishing though. Picking on the perch with lesson's from Yoda. He is the master of the surf for sure.
    Congrats again.
PS- I am getting tired of having to say that. JK
Peace and a joyful weekend to all.
    Hey Bill,
It can't stay this way forever....can it?!?
61 YT's for yesterdays report is looking good....

Robert, I like the googly eye modification on the LC...

    It matches its creator!

    Hey Jason,
The spot where I lost the Big One is the spot that Tess, you and myself didn't make it to that day.
They are there, but it's a rough catch...
    See You Soon,

You my friends.......are animals in the surf.
    Hey Arturo.....Wazzzzzzz UP VATO ?
    No pescado de Culito ?
No worries.......Tomorrow is another day and we......have a plan!
    Hey Mike,
Too bad you couldn't make it down, cause 3 rods are always better than 2...
2 hours is just not enought time to play in the water, but if that's whats meant to be than that's what it is....

    WHAT YA DOING MONDAY????

    Hey Mikey,
Arthur cracks me up, with the stories from the adventures with you guys have, and most of them do not include fish...That's What It's All About!!!
Did he tell you the little joke we played on Bones?
    Harmless fun!!

    Arthur,
Not all surf trips can be fantastic, and even Wingnut has to have some not so ridiculous days. Still, the company is always great with SWAT even when the fishing really isn't.

    Thanks for the reports guys,

    Marc
    Marc,
For such a young man you sure are wise...
Must get it from your Pops...
Monday might be promising, what you have planned?

Nice butt Robert, sorry about the big one that got away!
All I caught in the South Bay area was a YFC yesterday
I haven't decided on calling it "a skunk" or "a fish is a fish!"

See some of you guys tomorrow!
    Hey John,
I guess it's my turn to head up that way next time.
I really do want to hit S.B. and catch some of those big perch with Mike and Dave and Bill. We'll have to carpool and drive up when the water gets to 60 degrees...

    Hey Aaron,
    Long time, no read!
How are things going with you?
    Well I hope.
It's always fun fishing with people you like, and even better catching fish with people you like...

When are you going to get out Bro?
Monday is looking to improve, as far as the swell is concerned.
I know I am going to get out, for sure!!
Let me know if you're down?

Funny, Wingnut has an off day out there and people are shocked, lol
Happens to the best of us Arthur. Very cool of you Robert to give him your legal, Arthur has passed on many legals himself in the past. My family have been the beneficiary of his generosity a few times. One thing is for certain, there are no bad SWAT reports, ever.
Art, how did Bob do at Lake San Antonio?
