First hali from SD
Headed down to Sea Forth landing on sat. to fish off my bro-in-laws boat.A little bit of drizzle, and chilly. We headed out to a place we call Hali Alley. Water temp was 59* current was great which gave us the perfect drift. We were there not more then 15 min my in laws friend hooks up and lands the first legal hali 34" we had no scale but est.19 lbs. We go back to were we started bam, bam, bam,we all were getting hit.We do the drifting all day. We lost alot of lead along with alot of halis. We decided one more drift before we head back. The next thing I know fish on. It starts shaking it head at first as i am reeling it up i am like man he feels like a small one. Then I see it,my bro grabs the net, swoop,it in the boat.Hell yea this mutha was a fatty. Got home my sister took some pics(which I will post soon) busted out a scale 21.5 lbs at 36". :)
The other fish caught that day were 2-sand bass 1-barracuda 1-sculpin 1-octopuss(released)
All I can say was It was a good day.
