Default First (little) fish of the year

Caught the first fish of the year yesterday on a fly tied by City Dad.
Thanks mang! He went right for a full ritzwing caddis.

this water has changed majorly since I Was last there. The whole creek has moved over a couple hundred yards in the creek bed. Some major changes had taken place.

Dang I got skunked like 10 times lately in various places. Couldn't believe it. Lil out of practice!
Somebody gonna get their lips ripped soooooooooon!

TJ! Hey bro are you back in our area? You gotta see how much the water has come up at Perris. It's really going to be a great spawning year, if they don't drop the water level down quickly.

Hmmm that water is coming back up ey?! Awesome!
    Is DVL open again too?
Bought the license this year (plastic printed receipt! crazy) so planned on being around to use it a bit if possible.

You know, its funny. You probably fished more days than not over the course of the past few years, its FEB 11...and you just caught your first fish of 2011.

And damn, I got skunked on a few locals recently too. I think we're not out of practice, I think the floods changed it up so much we just have to find the fish again.
