    Default Bulk Sardines--Freezing Advice

    Hello All,

    I got a question about freezing sardines. I usually buy a couple of pounds and put them in snack sized sandwich bags. I thought about laying them indivdully in a tray to copy the packaged anchovy process but wondered if they would freeze burn? Any advice?

    If they were put in an RSW system when caught or you bought them live and then put them on ice they don't freeze very well, no matter what you do.
