The only thing in the pic for scale is the guy,,,,,and that could be a little deceaving,,,,,Kinda like kahn with a 15lbr,,LOL!!!!!!!!!

Before my AOL software "crashed" I had a link for some striper fanatics out of "Martha's Vineyard". If memory serves however it was primarily a Fly Fishing Striper site.

Not that anyone cares, but for what it's worth...I was curious so I sent the picture to my friend Tim from back home. He started a website called stripersonline many years ago and knows about most large bass that are caught. He confirmed that the picture is real. Caught a few weeks ago and weighed 72 lbs. There is a thread about it on his site. You are not allowed to kill striped bass during april/may in the susquehana or any of the ches bay tribs. There are hundreds of little tribs feeding the bay and bigger rivers and many of them are spawsing locations for stripers. He either weighed it on a boga or did the old length x girth squared/800 trick. that usually get's you within a few pounds. If you go to Timmy's site, main forum, you will find alot of info on this fish. I do not think it is a conflict, as his site is 95% East Coast striped bass fishing.

I tried to pull up the info from stripersonline, but the forums are not working at the moment.
