    Default lake del valle 1/17

got to the lake around 11 talked to the eb park rangers and they let me check out there boat what beauty! i need me a north river! after the chit chat i hoped on my tooon anchored then casted my bait pole out right when it hit the bottom fish on landed the first dfg to get the skunk off my back that was the only fish i got on bait! however i was able to manage 16 other trout on jiggin power worms includin this beauty i estimated to be around 7 or 8lbs so after i laned the dfg i casted my power worm out jig jig tap tap set the hook i thought i snagged for a minute or two the fish just sat there then she finally realized she was hooked the drag started to peeel i knew i had to finnese this fish cause i was using 2lb after a 15 minute battle i finally landed her and gave out a bigg WOOOHOOOOO as the rainn starts to Pour! after that i would pick off a fish here and there as the wind died!

Thats a pretty sweet setup ya got there. Hows the water looking? I heard its pretty muddy up there. I was gonna fish DV yesterday but decited to hit up Shadow Cliffs in my tube instead. I got one at the cliffs jigging the orange power worm it seems to do the trick in the muddier water. Looks like a fun trip leme know if you wanna fish someitme.
