Well my boy JB and my bro. chris and i hit corona on wens. and did pretty well on the tailwalkers all of them were 2 to 4 lbs and i got one that went 8lbs. it was the hardest fighting trout Iv ever caught and iv caught thousands of trout in my time, we had to pull anchor and give chase to land this fish it was awsome, Id rather catch an 8lb tailwalker over an 20lb lassen trout anyday. we were on the back side of the lake then we move over to the stocking area for the ruby red stocking we got there as the truck was pulling in (you can see us on the stocking video pretty cool). well i got one right before they stocked but not a bite for none of us after the stocking. lesson learned ruby reds dont bite when stocked. so we went back to the back side and finised out the day with more tailwalkers. the ten fish we kept went 31lbs. all on jigs and trout worms.
now sat. the 2nd the lake was packed and i woke up late, it took me an hour and 20 min. to get in, go to the back off the lake and there catching all ready we get in on the action and start catching then JB hooks on to a nice tailwalker about 6 to 8 lbs and snaped him off after a few minutes with about 80 yards of line out (these fish kickbut) then it slowed down at about 10:00 probably due to all the presser. It was a real slow pic the rest of the day the 10 we kept went 26lbs. all on jigs and trout worms. sorry about the pics but i dont know how to resize correctly. There I learnd how to post pics better, I wanted to show the tailwalkers size of fins awsome fish and put the right days limit pic in.
