DVL swinging and missing from shore 11/15
So I decided to fish DVL from shore for the first time arrived around 9:30 am and made my way to the eastern point of the marina and started tossing swimbaits at the trout boils with no love I switched over to my favorite DVL bait a C rigged 4" worm It took about a 1/2 hour for my first bite but I swung and missed "strike one" tossed back to the same spot and tick tick again i swing and this time my line snaps on me "strike two" I figured it was the 4lb flourocarbon so i switched to 6lb a few casts later I get picked up again I swing again and the line snaps again "strike three" omg can you say frustrated so anyways I continue my quest to land this fish to no avail and finally I gave up and moved down the shore where there was some brush I casted out in front of the brush and immediately get bit this time I swing and make contact with a solid 1.5lb Lmb I fished this area for a while longer and only managed one more Lmb about the same size as the first all in all not a bad day called it quits around 3:30 sure wish I could have landed the one that got away but that's o.k maybe next time
