    No your definitely right. I was exaggerating. I just think jigs were used more before and with all these new different soft bait offerings available now many people have moved on to those. But it is definitely still widely used..

    I've been using 4" and 5" senkos in Pumpkin or Watermelon or the combo of both. I used to texas rig them but once I started wacky rigging I cant stop. You get a good feel of the water when you are jigging them up and seems to get the bass biting.

    Default Jigs

    My favorite jig would have to be a Yamamoto twin tail grub with a Yamamoto skirt on a football head jig. As far as the color goes, I kind of mix them up depending on the body of water and time of the year
