    Default Colorado River - 30 minutes north of Blythe

    Just got back from a camping trip along the Colorado River, did some light fishing. Didn't catch anything that was picture worthy, maybe it was the heat, but here's what a I caught.

    4-5 SMBs on a Silver Panther Martin Spinner and a small green jig.
    Redear Sunfish on a orange with black dots colored rooster tail.
    Some small catfish on nightcrawlers.

    I tired and assortment of lures, and those are what I got hits on. Was a little disappointed at the size of the catches, but at least I can say I wasn't skunked.
