Went out this early evening for a bit and got this stocky, fatty. This thing fought like twice his size. I really thought I had a DD on up until it finally came in. It made 5 healthy runs and some were ferocious.

Looks exactly like one of our bakersfield fish,,,only without all the other ones laying next to it,,,,from the sounds of your report it sounds like it faught like one of OURS too!!!!!!!!!!!
It is actually exactly as you described it. With our skinny duct, there is not enough room for more fish like you guys have in that wide and deep duct.
