how close to the oil rigs did you get? We went out the other day and I think we got too close because an alarm went off???? We use to fish there all the time just drifting back and forth and never hear the alarm before. Is this something new or was the alarm for something else?

I hear that all the time out there I get rite up on them and no probs ..I usually see some of the same workers and chat with then while fishing

I get up real tight to it no prob especially with a trolling motor. As for the alarm it only goes off when you try to climb on and they yell BOMB! LMAO!
