    Sick *** rod. Worth every penny. It was just at light as my glx. I'm extremely satisfied

    I agree I have the same rod and love it....for surf fishign I would wouldve done the 7'2" MH...little more backbone

    Granted I do prefer a more parabolic action and the softer tip....especially when fishing for halibut in the surf...

    What reel did you pair it up with? In fresh i use the Steez baitcaster and on the surf im using a calcutta 200 dc

    You might want to bump up to a 250DC for extra line capacity.
