Anybody know how to remove the bladder from the outer shell? I have it out of the zippered area, but I can seem to remove at the filler.
Thanks

After you mentioned this, I tried to remove the air bladder from the canvas cover on my fish cat and I can't.
Why would you want to do this?
For 2 reasons.
1. So I can get it into the bath tub to find the slow leak I have.
2. To replace it with a new one if need be.

I have the ODC.. Never took apart the Outcast fishcat???

I ve done it to replace. It is not easy to do. The top valve is bigger than the hole. You have to stretch the material at an ankle to get it in.
I cut the top off the bad one with a hacksaw. It took a few slices and and one minute or less.
Then, i had to work to get the new bladder back in.
And for finding the leaks in the future I would just call and get a replacement. As long as your tube is less than 5 years they take your word for it.
Its ok I used some grease to get the new one in and wipe it away.
I guess not all holes are created equally.
But I really like the fact that Outcase and their supplier are pretty cool about replacing.
A broken bladder makes the $200 tube useless.
the bladder could be made very cheaply from looking at it.
Just call and ask for a new one...they will do it FREE
BUT and this is a BIG BUT...make sure you tell them which side you need because they never asked me, and I ended getting the wrong side the first time. But they didn't want the wrong bladder back, so now I have a replacement for the other side.
Good luck!
