    Default Stripers at Mead 12/26/08

Gonna make this report short. Went out with my dad and my cousin on a guided trip the day after Xmas to get in on the stiper action, saw several boils and birds. Due to a late start we ended the day with 13 stripers, trolled chrome rattle traps. The trip was fairly decent, but the only thing that bugged me was the cold weather 30 degrees!

The stripers were feeding on shad I even found some corn in one of them.

Love to fish over by Hemingway, good job! The big boys have been kind of rare so far this season for my friend that lives out there. They seem to still be feeding on the shad and haven't really targeted the rainbows yet.
