Thanks everyone! I'm glad you enjoyed my report as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Too bad that no one, at least that I know of, from this board could join me on this trip. I look forward to taking more pictures of you guys fishing with me next time!

    Now to the questions:
We had small to medium size sardines. They were so small that I thought that they were chovies!! ahahaha...

But as we all know, bonitos will bite anything that moves.
Metals, lures, bait, my finger....

    Great report Joe!

Bummed I could not make it out there at the Rockpile (I assume that was the default destination).

Next time! Great pics by the way!

That would be an affirmative. We hit everywhere in that area and nothing was happening during the day. But as we all hope, at the last minute, they come out to play.

    Missed you out there Rich!

Ensenada is calling out to you....Rich....Ric hard....Richardo...&#4 6;

DUDE i love this charter! These guys REALLY know how to find the boners.

Any word on when the cost will drop down again? do they only do that on holidays?

I'm not sure as to how this opportunity came about. The sales man inside me is telling me, they did this for two reasons:
    1. Fishing is slow during this season anyway, so why not take shorter trips.
    2. It's a good way to advertise how awesome the boat is by offering short trips for cheap.

There are anglers like me that can not afford to go on 10-day trips for $3,500 which is what the Shogun specializes in. So we would never really know how great the boat is. These short trips give the opportunity to experience the Shogun and possible entice us to take a longer trip.

So I don't think it was a "cost drop down" but more of an "still not summer, let's get people interested in us" deal. For this reason, I don't think you should hold your breath for a constant price reduction. Instead, get on the boat while you can!!
