With corbina season just around the corner, I was wondering if you guys are seeing sand crab beds along the LA county beach areas? Particularly Hermosa to El Segundo?
By the way, WORK SUCKS!!!

Yes there are some but they are few and far between, and I only found one of notable size. The sandcrabs are the size of grains of rice and you have to dig deep to find ones that are dime size or bigger. The two I found were in Manhattan Beach, on the El Porto side. Good Luck!
Sinjin, from what Ive seen and heard it's still
a bit early and no crab bed's showing yet, but
I know a guy with a boat that found some calico's
It's the same ol saying, work sucks but .......... ... lol

Hey Sinjin,
Sorry to hear about the work thing, bummer.
Small crabs, down deep at WRSB. I didn't see any beans either, but I have
seen them around elsewhere.
i've came across a few sc so far. not a big crab bed, but scattered pockets. mostly hardshells about quarter size. i bet u our fav 'bean place has some nice crab beds. :D
Saw some huge one's (2") in small beds at high tide this week at El Porto, north side of jetty. :)

That it does.
Do you guys ever use the Gulp plastic crabs? Do they work? I purchased a bag while at Fred Hall and I haven't had a chance to try them out.
Is the surf the best place to use those darn thing?
thanks
OH, Work does suck, but it pays the bills and keeps me fishing!
