    Default ice level Mammoth lakes

    Going to try to get up to do some fishing soon and wondering if anyone has seen Twin lakes in the Mammoth lakes basin and if it is ice free.

    Was just up there, Mid and lower lakes are ice free.

    Upper was 1/2 frozen. water was REALLY cold. and aside from my big brown and a couple small bows being caught it was pretty slow.
