My wife likes fishing, but hates to get sea sick so she prefers to do it from shore in freshwater.

You really need to stop jumping around when your wife is trying to take a picture :)

I am proud of your wife for fishing on 6lb. test. I usually use 8lb. and a 7' freshwater setup when I fish the wall...it is so much more fun and I catch way more fish than fishing 10-15lb. We keep fishing the same areas and I never see you; I was there earlier Saturday. The checkers were on fire!!(30+ in 5hrs.)

You better check the weather for this weekend; I am planning to go out but the winds look like they are going to be nasty(25kts+)

PS. I would post some photos of myself with the fish but I have two problems: 1. My wife won't go with and take the pictures 2. You take better photos than me...next time stand still!!

LOL not going out this weekend weather is horrible. As for fishing light line, that is what I love best. LIke you, I fish 8 pound there as well and do well. Also easier to break off when stuck on the rocks... Maybe I will see you there one day.

I live near Silverwood lake. Can anyone give me good advice on where to fish and what to use for stripers. I do have access to use a boat. Maybe trolling info.. Thanks.
