    Default Agressive Crab!!!! TYPE????

Caught this guy in long beach the other day. Can anyone guess what type of crab it is? Kelp crab? Wanted to get expert FNN opinion on the type of crab. This guy continued to raise his claws and snapping them forward. He was pissed off.

That thing looks like a scorpion. Take it to the desert and release it back into its natural habitat.

I have no idea, but I think the shell is too red to be a spider crab.

We did keep the crab only for a short ride to the Cabrillo museum. They ended up being closed so we elected to put it back in the ocean. Never had the intention of eating it since it was too weird/scary looking. :D
