short hali
hit up the bay side of cabrillo beach. seen some baitfish jumpin around, but there was ALOT of vegetation. casted out a small swimmy for a slow retrieve, second cast.. wam! brought in a short hali, about 17 or 18. then fishing some more my buddy got a croacker and a sand shark. also while i was fishing i looked down to see a small bait fish still alive on the sand, set up my other pole and threw it out. in a few minutes i thought i had another butt, it was just a big *** ray. then called it a day.
