Thread: Port Hueneme - Pacific Eagle

  1. #1

Default Port Hueneme - Pacific Eagle

We charted the Pacific Eagle out of Port Hueneme on Saturday the 28th, got to Santa Rosa at 4am, picked up some squid for white sea bass, the water isnt quite warm enough yet. 18 of us picked up limits of quality Rock fish, and a few nice Lings. Weather was pretty good. All in all, another great trip to the channel islands. Saw the Get Bent guys on the Mirage, next time we'll say hey.

yeah they do check you off at the gate. if its out of Port Huemene. the port itself is monitored 24/7 by a armed guard at the booth.

the two guys in the pic are Frenchie and Joe, I agree Frenchie is an awesome cook and a great guy to have on the boat. It's easy to get through the security, as long as your name is on the manifest at the gate. I think the guards are private security, really nice people. I just wish the drive from the OC was a little closer.
