I just shook up a beer real good, to make it go flat quicker, then added it to 1.5 cups of flour with a dash of baking powder and salt in it.
Heated the oil and dredged my fishstick size chunks of Whitefish, Sheephead, Vermillion, and assorted other rockfish, in flour before coating with the batter.
Dropped em into the hot oil for a couple minutes until they were a perfect light golden brown color.
Ate them right up. No time for tacos. Had some beer with it too.
I would have had french fries if I'd had some potatos laying around. Maybe next time. Mmmmmm Mmmmmm Greasy!!! Think I'll wash it down with some more beer.
