Shimano's Budget Entry Level Spinner is Amazingly Priced!
Even the #1 fishing gear manufacturer in the World offers some of the best priced entry level rods & reels currently on the market. This is the 2nd Gen that retired the original in 2019. These units are more advanced than the original. Has 2+1 ball bearings compared to the original 2 bb. Metal housing has replaced some of the plastic as well.
Drag system is front mounted. Has a metal roller clutch. Max drag is rated at 19lb & still incorporates the Propulsion Line Management System. Gear ratio is 5.2:1 with 32in per crank.
